Roderick D. Shaw, 87, of Fishers passed away May 20, 2014.
He was born on April 23, 1927 to the late George and Vivian Shaw. Roderick was the former head football and track coach at Anderson Highland and John Marshall High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and Korea. Roderick was a graduate of Elwood High School, Earlham College and Ball State University. He was a teacher and coach for forty years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Betty Clark; and his brothers, Wilfred and George Shaw.
Services have been entrusted to Hendryx Mortuary Cumberland Chapel. There will be a visitation Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service to follow. There will be a private burial at Washington Park East Cemetery. Military Honors are to be presented by Greenfield Honor Guard.
