Death Ends Plans For Germany Trip For Ernest Herman
Ernest Paul HErman, 58, a Lodi dairy worker, was found dead yesterday morning at his residence on the Happyholme dairy ranch on Lower Sacramento rd. His body was found in bed, where he was apparently stricken suddenly while watching television. An autopsy by the county coroner is scheduled today. His unexpected death ended his plans for a trip next week to his native Germany. He had already purchased tickets.
Mr. Herman had been employed on the ranch since 1935. No survivors were located yesterday. His mother, whose name was not known, lives i Germany, and he was planning to visit her during his trip.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Lodi Funeral Home.
