Sarah Catherine (Lamb) Beech, 99, of Harrison City, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, in William Penn Care Center, Jeannette. She was born March 30, 1915, in Crows Nest, a daughter of the late John D. and Emma (Rohrer) Lamb. Sarah was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Harrison City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Beech in 1967; three brothers, Robert, William, and George Lamb; and four sisters, Ellen Kepple, Anna Belle Nicholson, Hanna Hawk, and Mary Jane Krotz. She is survived by a daughter, Martha R. Beach wife of Robert Beach, of Lorida, FL., grandsons, John Beach (September) of York, Daniel Beach of York, Joel Beach (Cindy) of Media, and granddaughter, Bridget Bechtel (Terry) of New Enterprise. She is also survived by a son John Beech of Jeannette, grandsons John Beech (Sue) of Jeannette, Michael Beech (Chris) of Jeannette, granddaughters Dana Pletcher of Mt. Pleasant, and Tara Beech of Washington, D.C. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
