MRS. B. J. SNYDER DIES AT HOME ON WEST SIDE

Aunt of Judge Fine - Funeral Tuesday Afternoon
            --------------------------
    Ill since Thanksgiving, death claimed Mrs. Bessie James Snyder, aged 61, wife of A. A. Snyder, 37 East Poplar street, West Nanticoke, this morning at 1:30 at the family residence. Death was attributed to complications. Mrs. Snyder was an aunt of Judge John S. Fine.
    The deceased was born and reared in Newport Township. She was a lifelong resident of this community, having resided in Nanticoke for years before taking up her residence on the West Side. She was well known and highly respected and enjoyed the acquaintance of a wide circle of friends. She is the mother of Mrs. Ralph Gregory, well known vocalist.
    Surviving are her husband and these children, William H. James, Tilbury Terrace, and Mrs. Ralph Gregory, of Nanticoke; also these stepchildren: Mrs. C. F. Smith, Trucksville; Mrs. C: H. Wolfe, Pike's Creek; Mrs. M. A. Dymond, Trucksville; Mrs. Albert McKeel, Lehman; C. E. Snyder, Kingston, and Mrs. LeRoy Rees, Kingston; also one brother, Guy Croop and two sisters, Mrs. James Fine and Mrs. H. E. Young.
    The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the bereaved home, with services in the Evangelical Church, West Nanticoke, and interment in the family plot in Hanover Green Cemetery.
