Marion Bainter, 75, father of Mrs. Otto West and Mrs. Louis Prochazka, both of Janesville, died Tuesday in the home of another daughter, Mrs. Philip Lozon, Rhinelander.
He was born in Baraboo July 23, 1862, and in December, 1887, married Miss Lucy Frasier in Superior. They lived in Rice Lake for 12 years and in 1900 moved to Lake Nebagamon. Mrs. Bainter died here in 1936.
Besides Mrs. West, Mrs. Prochazka and Mrs. Lozon, he is survived by one son, Harry, Ladysmith, and three other daughters, Mrs. Ann Engebretson, Duluth, Mrs. Julia Clough, Ladysmith, and Mrs. Julia Miller, Vassar, Mich; one brother, Lyman, La Crosse; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild...
