Judge R.E. Lee, 67, of the Post Community in Haskell county, died of a heart attack Friday afternoon at 5:15 int he Stamford Hospital. He had been ill for six weeks.
R.E. Lee was born March 13, 1865 in Tennessee. He came to Texas many years ago. At one time he was county judge of Haskell county.
He retired several years ago, moving to his farm in the Post community. Survivors are his wife, two sons -
H.C. Lee of Victoria and Harry Lee of Haskell Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at the Haskell Methodist Church with Rev. A.W. Gordon officiating.
