Carl "Bill" Mullennix (1929 - 2014)

SHERMAN - Funeral services for Carl "Bill" Bernard Mullennix, 85, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Joe Patterson officiating, assisted by Chaplain Mike Hermanson. Interment will follow the service at Sadler Cemetery. Visitation services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 19, from 6 - 8 p.m.

He passed away at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas on May 15, 2014.

Bill was born on February 21, 1929 in Adell, Texas to Eugene Douglas and Margaret Viola (Clinton) Mullennix. He married Marion Lee Fuller on December 8, 1950. They were married for 63 years. He was employed for a time by Malouf's Manufacturing and Bill Paul Enterpise. He was the owner of Bill's Foreign Cars. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a Master Mason of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Central Baptist Church of Whitesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Marion Mullennix of Sherman; son, Bobby Gene Baker of Hillsboro; son, Billy Don Mullennix and wife, Tammy, of Whitesboro; daughter, Paula Gail McCutcheon of Whitesboro; brother, Warren P. Mullennix and wife, Anna Lee, of Boyd; grandchildren: Christy Mullennix Jaresh, Shawn Mullennix, Cody Mullennix, Jeremy Taylor, and Angelia Taylor Richardson; and 12 great grandchilden and great-great grandchildren; extended family, Robbie Pond, Jayline Rose and Gene and LeRue Burton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Viola Mullennix; brother, Eugene Douglas Mullennix, Jr., and sister, Doris Janelle Crowley.

The pallbearers will be Shawn Mullennix, Cody Mullennix, Jeremy Taylor, Christopher Jaresh, Hunter Mullennix, Austin Mullennix, and Daniel Martin.
