On July 7, 1990 he married Jean Irene Mulkerin and she died April 20, 2001.
He was employed and retired from General Tire and Rubber Co. He was a veteran and lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion.
Mr. Andrews enjoyed outdoor activities of hunting, camping, HOT racing and spending time with friend.
He was preceded in death by son, Mark Dwain Andrews of June 20, 1993.
Survivors: Daughter, Gayla Jo Guthrie of Whitney TX; sons, Charles David Andrews of Bellmead TX, Douglas Ray Andrews of Elm Mott TX, Jeffrey Allen Andrews of Bellmead TX; special friend Juanita Peters ; sisters, Lucille Price of Greenville TX, and Faye Tuscanna of Swinney TX; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchidren; and many nieces and nephews.
