Dorotha was born February 28, 1925 at Casa, AR, the daughter of Ernest J. and Lucie May (Hamilton) Burris and died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at her residence in Webbers Falls. Prior to retirement, Dorotha was the office manager at Greenleaf State Park. She was of the Methodist faith and a long time resident of Braggs. She loved her family and looked forward to visits from her great-granddaughters. Dorotha was an avid sports fan and loved watching games on TV. Dorotha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verl; two brothers, Ardie and Alvin Burris; and sister Helen Burris. (Muskogee Phoenix, May 18, 2014)
