Lois H. Paquette, 84, of Newark, died Sunday at Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons. Born in Mississippi, she was a resident of the Fulton area for many years before moving to Michigan and then to Ohio. She returned to New York in 2008. Lois had owned and operated her own beauty shop in Fulton for many years. She was also employed at Nestle Co. in Fulton and for Phoenix School District as a bus driver. Lois was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Fulton. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Paquette, in 1998. Surviving: two daughters, Lois Helyn Brackett of Sodus and Janet L. Giarratano of Newark; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Emily Schilling of New Orleans; a brother, Charles Ritchie of Memphis; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cemetery, S. Seventh Street, Fulton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wayne County Nursing Home, 1529 Nye Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
