Katherine E. Derosett, 81, of 1520 McBride Lane, died at 12:55 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, in St. John's Skilled Care in St. Louis.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Berean Christian Church, with the Rev. Jeff Koch officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Crawshaw Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Mrs. Derosett was retired from the bursar's office at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and later became a member of the Berean Christian Church, both in Murphysboro.
She was born March 22, 1917, in Murphysboro to William and Edith (Batty) Underwood.
She married Harry K. "Bud" Derosett. He died March 17. 1989.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Jim Schaefer of St` Louis...several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and aunts and a special friend.
Her parents also preceded her in death.
