This community was shocked last Saturday morning by the report that Dr. D.P. Ruff of Dover had died at his home the night previous. He leaves a wife, two sons and a little daughter behind to mourn his lost.

Dr. Ruff attended Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee where he graduated in 1878. He married Minnie Truett November 7, 1878.
