Mrs. Cloetta Dyer
Mrs. Cloetta Knowlton Dyer, 47, 1194 Wayne, died Sunday afternoon in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted a few hours earlier. She had a heart ailment.
She was born Feb. 6, 1925, at Tulsa, Okla., and lived in Topeka many years. She recently lived a year at Yuma, Tenn., near Memphis. She formerly was employed in the Kansas Civil Defense office in Topeka.
She was married to James E. Dyer. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Richard L. Knowlton, 830 Hedgewood, and Kelly Knowlton, Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Connee Ridgway, 1194 Wayne; her mother, Mrs. Olevia Tiley, Tulsa, Okla.; her step-mother, Mrs. Opal Kelly, Ozark, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Foye McDonough, Simi, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Chapel with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
