They continued to live in Appleton until moving to rural Danube in March of 1954. During this time, she worked at Wingates Clothing in Olivia for 20 years before moving to Renville in 1986.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Renville.
She is survived by her husband, Ed; one son, Roger and his wife, Joan; three daughters; Gloria (Mrs. Wayne) Tepfer, Dottie (Mrs. Bob) Moen and Joyce Beck; one sister, Helen Williams; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leon "Bud" and Lyle; and one sister, Edna.
