On Saturday morning Wallace W. Fahnestock, of this city, died at the residence of his brother in New York. Mr. Fahnestock was a son of the late Adam K. Fahnestock, and was in his 40th year. He has always lived in this city, but having been in bad health about ten days ago he went to New York to reside with his brother. Mr. Fahnestock was connected with the Harrisburg National Bank in a clerical capacity since 1864, and at his death was its corresponding clerk. Mr. Fahnestock had a host of friends who will regret to learn of his death. He was a genial, whole-souled gentleman, and was liked by all who knew him. He will be buried in the Harrisburg Cemetery.
