James D. "Jim" Mullens, age 75 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.

The son of Riley and Emma (Watts) Mullens was born January 10, 1939 in the Pea Ridge Community in Searcy Arkansas.

Jim was a truck driver. He enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles and restoring his yellow '32 Chevy pickup.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leroy Mullens; and two sisters, Zelma Moore and Thelma Parrish.

Survivors are his wife, Reva (Vick) Mullens of the home; children, Mike Mullens and Kenny Mullens both of Bergman, Arkansas, Arlene Mullens-Goulet and husband, Jim of Diamond City, Arkansas, Jimmy Reynolds and wife, Renee and Chris Reynolds also of Bergman; sisters, Edith Faye Kyles of California, Juanita Clouse of Cave Springs, Arkansas and Venita Ames of Springdale, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

There will be open visitation Monday, May 19, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

The funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Osborne Church at St. Joe with burial following in Osborne Cemetery. Leo Dye and Johnny McKinley will officiate.

Jim's children and grandchildren will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Blake Chitsey, Bobby Morrow and Jim Goulet.
