Alma B. Rider Succumbs Here
Alma B. Rider, 66, wife of Ernest P. Rider of 1812 Massachusetts, died in a local hospital Wednesday.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Nave, who ranched in the Toston-Radersburg area, she was born there June 11, 1897. She was reared on the ranch and later entered hotel work in Three Forks before taking p bakery work in Bozeman. She married Mr. Rider in Butte in February 1922 and they lived in Bozeman 25 years before coming to Butte in 1937.
Last rites will be Friday at 2 in Wayrynen Funeral Home with the Rev. Elbert Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make gifts to the First Presbyterian Church memorial fund in memory of Mrs. Rider, the family said.
Survivors besides the husband include a daughter, Mrs. William F. Allen, and grandson, David Allen, both of Butte; sisters, Mrs. Elsie Allison of Bozeman and Mrs. Agnes Cordy of Los Angeles, and brothers, Sherlock E. Nave of Townsend and Maurice A. Nave of Maple Valley, Wash. There also are numerous other relatives in Townsend, San Francisco, Oregon and Washington.
