EL RENO—Services for Ben H. Fowler, 72, who died Wednesday after a six months illness, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bible Baptist Church. Burial will be in El Reno Cemetery under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Born in Lewisberg, Mo., Fowler came to Davenport in 1897, and moved to Shawnee in 1925. He moved to El Reno in 1940 and was a retired Rock Island Railroad machinist helper.
He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and the Brotherhood of Railroad Firemen & Oilers.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Arleigh Calvert, Mrs. Edwin Hubbs, and Mrs. Lee Higgins, all of El Reno, and Mrs. John Stell, of Jay; three sons. A. R., H. E., and J. A., all of El Reno; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie O'Neal, Meeker; Mrs. Fannie Bristow. Modesto, Calif., and Mrs. Ed DeShay, Madeira, Calif., and two brothers, J. 0., Phoenix, Ariz., and George I., Madeira.
