Joseph A. Harshey Sr., 95, New Castle, died Sunday at Henry County Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born in Monroe County and was a member of North Memorial Drive Church of Christ in New Castle. He had been employed by Jesse French Piano Co., New Castle, until it closed in 1950. He was then employed by Western Products, New Castle, retiring in 1964.
Survivors include a daughter, June Bayley; and two sons, Joseph A. Harshey Jr. and James M. Harshey.
His wife, Eva Glover Harshey, died in 1986; and a daughter, Donnis Smith, died in 1990.
Services will be Saturday at Main & Frame Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
