Julie Ann Albert, 46, passed away quietly on Jan. 19, 2005, at her sister's home in New Berlin, Wis., following a brief hospitalization.

She was born on March 25, 1958, in Waupun.
She was educated at St. Coletta School in Jefferson, Wis. After graduation, she became a resident worker and served the community in a number of positions for over 30 years. Even as her complicated medical situation compromised her abilities, she continued her dedication to crafts and enjoyed her correspondence with many friends and relatives by e-mail and letters. Everyone appreciated Julie?s positive attitude and honest, friendly disposition. She brightened the lives of all she met and will be greatly missed by family and friends, including the residents and staff at St. Coletta.

Julie had an unshakeable faith in both God and people and a belief that she will see us all again in heaven. We embrace her positive attitude, and now we ask her to watch over all of us.

She is survived by her mother, Regina (nee Trierweiler); her brother, David L. Albert; her sisters, Mary Beth (Paul) Byrne and Colleen Hansen; and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph M. Albert; and her brothers, Gale and Dennis.

• Services: A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Julie's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, S89 W22650 W. Milwaukee Ave. (Janesville Road), Big Bend, Wis. Private interment will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Julie's name may be made to Herma Heart Center, Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic, Children?s Hospital of Wisconsin, or to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Big Bend, Wis.
