DEATH AND THE GRAVE.
Mrs. George Lefever and the infant son of Mrs. Sidney Benjamin.
Roy, infant son of Mrs. Sidney Benjamin, died at the residence, 311 North Andre Street, at 8 o'clock this morning of whooping cough, complicated with typho-malarial fever, aged 1 year and 9 days. The funeral takes place at 8 o'clock tomorrow from the residents. Mrs. Benjamin's husband died about six months ago at Bliss Hospital from injuries which he received while in the woods.

The funeral of Roy, infant son of Mrs. Sidney Benjamin, was largely attended this morning from the residence, 311 Andre Street. Rev. A. H. Beaver officiated. The Baptist choir, composed of Miss Cora McLean, Miss Hattie Wood, L. A. Burrows and George Dice furnished the music.

George Whiddon and Miss Madella Benjamin were united in marriage by Rev. A. H. Beaver last evening at the residence of Mrs. Whiddon on Cleveland Street. It was a quiet wedding, witnessed only by the immediate friends and relatives.

Whiddon---At the family home, 416 North Woodbridge Street, occurred the death Saturday of Lucy Medella, wife of George Whiddon. The cause of death was attributed to cancer. Deceased was 50 years of age. She was born in Canada Feb. 12, 1857, and in 1861 her parents moved to Saginaw. In 1874, deceased was married to Sidney Benjamin, who died in 1890. Three years later she married Mr. Whiddon. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Besides her husband, six children survived her, William and Fay Benjamin, of Saginaw; Mrs. John Gage, of Alma; Mrs. George Burnett, of Lansing; Gladys and Harold, of this city. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the family residence. Rev. Howard R. Chapman will officiate.
