Funeral services for Mrs. May V. Wall, who died Sunday, were held Wednesday, May 15, at 2 p.m. in the Ruge Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul C. Wilson officiating.
Burial was in the Kankakee Memorial Garden cemetery.
Mrs. Wall was born Feb. 1, 1887 in Rockville Township, Kankakee County. She was married Feb. 6, 1936 in Kankakee to Roy Wall.
Surviving are the widower; a foster daughter, Armetta Nevin, Detroit, Mich.; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a brother, George Holl of Port Huron, Mich.; stepchildren, Mrs. Vera Flanagan of Chicago, Mrs. Myrtle Shea of Grant Park, Mrs. Margaret Arseneau, Mrs. Rachel Wischnowsky, Mrs. Clarabelle Sommers and Joe Wall, all of Kankakee. A son, George Fletcher, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wall was a member of the Momence Methodist church. She was a chaplain of the Women’s Relief Corps, patriotic instructor of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and a member of the Gleaners of America.
Members of the Woman’s Relief Corps conducted a special service at the Ruge Funeral Home.
