Mr. Wilbourn died May 10, 2014, at UMMC of Grenada.
He was born on Dec. 11, 1928, and was the son of the late Adron Pate Wilbourn and Mattie Bessie Flemmons of Yalobusha County.
Mr. Wilbourn was employed by Heatcraft as a group leader. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Army during WW II and a member of the VFW. Mr. Wilbourn was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Andrews Wilbourn of Grenada; two sons, Ray C. Wilbourn, Jr. (Linda) and Ricky Wilbourn (Renee) both of Grenada; two brothers, Roddy Wilbourn of Grenada and Adron P. Wilbourn Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Christopher Wilbourn, Eric Wilbourn and Adam Wilbourn; and a host of nieces and nephews.
