Georgia Lillian Urban 89, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014. Mrs. Urban was born February 18, 1925 in Rutersville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin W. Urban and great grandsons; Justin and Jackson Doggett. She is survived by her daughters; Karen Chrisman (Kenny), Sharon Carlton, Barbara Urban, Debbie Furlow (Frank), and Adella Mays (Wayne), sons; Gary Urban (Vicki) and Andrew Urban (Loretta), sister, Mary Deitrich, brother, Louis Muras, sister-in-law, Helen Muras, 13 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 4, 2014, from 4pm - 6pm at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 5, 2014, 12:30pm, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Houston Ave, Houston, Texas 77007. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. The family would like to express a special gratitude to the Serenity Assistant Living and the Garden Oaks Adult Activity Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those contributions are made to Trinity Lutheran School Endowment Fund or HUG 2 Campaign.
