Henry Yeary was a soldier in the American Revolution. The DAR designated him DAR Ancestor Number A129533. The DAR listed his Service Source as Summers in his History of Southwest Virginia and Washington County 1777-1870. Summers named him as one of the Heroes who fought at the Battle of King's Mountain. This work has, unfortunately, proven to be grossly inaccurate. There was no other evidence of his participation at the Battle of King's Mountain.
Per the Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots, he was buried in this cemetery.
