Anza McMurdo Succumbs At 91

Mrs. Anza McMurdo, a resident of Napa for 35 years, died this morning at her home at 1005 Summit Ave. She was 91.
Born in Iowa, Mrs. McMurdo came to Napa to live in 1920. She was the wife of the late David McMurdo. Mrs. McMurdo was a member of the Methodist Church.
She was the mother of George McMurdo, Mary Vagnuer, Margaret Hale and Jennie Bonner, all of Napa, and Grace Berry of Lakewood, Colo. She is survived by three brothers, Curtis Monroe of Woodland, James and Arthur Monroe of Oregon, and a sister, Ester Kress of Corning. Twelve grandchildren also survive.
Private funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 am. at the Treadway and Wigger Garden Chapel.
