Louis H. Krejci

Louis H. Krejci, age 83, a resident of Atwater passed away Monday, September 6, 2004.
He was born August 9, 1921 in Winton, CA, to the late Frank and Ellen Krejci. Louis served in the U.S. Army, during WWII and received the Purple Heart. In 1946, he was united in marriage to Jewel Brown and was happily married for 52 years. Louis worked as a farmer also a mechanic/bus driver for Atwater Elementary School District for over 21 years. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, and watching baseball. Louis was a Wonderful Husband, Father, Brother, and Grandfather who will truly be missed.
Louis is survived by his brother, Bill Krejci of Merced, CA.; four grandchildren: Brian and his wife and child, Tiffani and Gavin Louis Ipock of Atwater, CA.; Nina and her husband and two sons: Rick, Brandon and Bryce Childers of Indianapolis, IN, Jerrad Krejci of Seattle, WA., and Tricia Krejci. He is further survived by three great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel B. Krejci; a son, Rick Krejci; a daughter, Jennifer Stover; and brother, John Krejci.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m.., Thursday, September 9, 2004 at Ivers & Alcorn 3050 Winton Way in Atwater. A Chapel Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Sept 10, 2004 at Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Atwater.
The burial will follow at Winton District Cemetery. Merced County VFW Honor Guard will be conducting Military Honors.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Atwater.
