MacDonald Dies, Former Boxer
Patrick George MacDonald, 57, former Syracuse amateur boxer, was found dead about 7 a. m. yesterday outside the summer camp of his son-in-law, Anthony Nappa, on Canaseraga creek, near Oneida lake, where he had been living.
Dr. Arthur S. Broga, Oneida, Madison county coroner, said cause of death was coronary thrombosis.
The body was discovered by Mrs. Mary Bordou, who resides in a cottage next to Nappa's.
MacDonald, a restaurant cook, was born in Holyoke, Mass. Surviving are his wife, Clara Brutcher MacDonald; two daughters, Mrs. Anthony Nappa and Miss Patricia Ann MacDonald, and a son, John Joseph MacDonald.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Schumacher & Mason funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. Friends may call at 366 W. Onondaga st.
