Ellen Carrie Novella Patterson of 332 Hunt Ave., departed this life March 17, 1997. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jean W. Brooks; five nieces, one devoted, Mrs. Grace P. Flowers, Mrs. Odessa R. Thomas, Mrs. Rubye R. Hill, Mrs. Evelyn R. Bankett and Mrs. Wilnett Squire; one nephew, Richard W. Robinson; one sister-in-law, Rosa P. Wood; a host of great-nieces and nephew, other relatives and friends. Her remains rest at the W.S. Watkins & son Funeral home. After 10 a.m. Saturday, her remains will rest at Providence Park Baptist Church, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Rev. Dr. Jerome Ross officiating. Interment, Roselawn Memory Gardens.
