Teresa was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was of the Holiness Faith Church. She deeply loved her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Bessie Sturgill, four brothers; Harold, Paul, Fred , Eulis, and two sisters; Velma Isom, and Lula Owens.
She is survived by her loving husband; Willie Stanley of 37 years, Daughters Carla Hyden (husband) Jamie of Abingdon Va, Charity Vaughn (fiancé) Harold Noe of Big Stone Gap, adopted sons; Tyler Taylor and Michael Vaughn, two grand sons; Gregory Bolling J,r and Scottie Fields Jr, one stepson; William Stanley and Companion Angie Barnette of Big Stone Gap, one brother; Granvile Sturgill (wife) Barbara of Baltimore MD, two sisters; Francis Davis of Cape Hatteras, and Bettina WIlliams of Columbus Ohio. Several other close relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for the visitation on Monday (May 12, 2014) from 6 until 8 p.m at Holding Funeral Home of Big Stone Gap (17 E. 3rd S. N)
The funeral service will be conducted following the visitation with the Rev. Eddie Clifton officiating in the funeral Home chapel.
The graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday (May 13, 2014) at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers
