She was known for her beautiful quilting, and unmatched cooking, her fabulous gardening which was shared by many. She believed in hard work and leaves a legacy of abiding faith, a prayerful life, and service to others. She left this world with peace and confidence that she would be reunited with loved ones and friends.
Dora is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Ralph Stone; son, Kenneth Ralph; and infant son, Roy Glenn.
She is survived by daughter, Glenda Stone Johnson and husband Roy of Pearland; grandchildren, Elise Stone Johnson and husband Steve of San Antonio, Kenneth K. Stone and wife Patti of Southlake, Geralyn Foster and husband Glenn of Pearland, Andrea Shaw and husband Eric of Pearland, Danica Marrelli and husband Sean of Pearland, Erica Zwernemann and husband Robert of Keller; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; beloved friends and Elgin neighbors.
A funeral service will be conducted at Elgin Funeral Home with Pastor, Mark Nygard officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
