Mr. Paul Sirmans, 58 of Adel passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Sirmans was born November 10, 1955 to the late Vernon & Clara Boyd Sirmans. He was a truck driver with Sanderson Farms. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Sirmans of Adel; two sons, Jamie Exum of LaGrange, GA., and Josh Sirmans of Cordele; three brothers, Bill Sirmans of Unadilla, Ron Sirmans of Unadilla, and David Sirmans of Ray City; three sisters, Christine Moody of Bainbridge, Martha Vanbrunt of Adel, and Ann Sirmans of Bainbridge. Mr. Sirmans was preceded in death by one brother, Rick Sirmans, and one sister, Susan Holder. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Gordon and Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex. The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
