He was born on Feb. 24, 1913, in Osceola County, Iowa near Sibley. He was the son of Menno and Louise Schluter Feldkamp. He lived in the Sibley area most of his life. He graduated from Sibley High School in 1929.
On Sept. 22, 1934, he was united in marriage to Miss Pauline Jarrott at Flandreu, SD. They have farmed near Sibley and for the last years have lived in Sibley. He was employed by A.S.C.S. office.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline; four children, Jarrott Feldkamp of Lewisville, Texas; Susan (Mrs. Joe Smith) of Blair, NE, Michael of Bigelow, MN; Monte at home.; six grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. Anna Towne of Esko, MN; Hattie (Mrs. Lee Helmers) Sibley; Florence (Mrs. Merle Howard) of Bigelow, MN; Alvida (Mrs. Irvin Graff) of Worthington, MN; and Alberta (Mrs. Clayton Jarrott) of Sioux Falls, SD.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, three brothers and one sister.
