MRS. MARJORIE A. ROCKWELL

GROTON - Mrs. Marjorie A. Rockwell, 64, of 462 Cortland Rd. and widow of Robert R. Rockwell, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1970, at Tompkins County Hospital where she was a patient one week.

Mrs. Rockwell was born Nov. 6, 1906 at Jenksville, daughter of the late James H. and Clarissa Johnson Allen. 

She had been in ill health many years and had been a patient at the Reconstruction Home in Ithaca for the past two years.

She is survived by two sons, Ross A. Rockwell of Groton and Gerald W. Rockwell of Jordan; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Stewart and Mrs. Phyllis Drake, both of Groton; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lee Hover of LaFargeville; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private services will be held Saturday at Booth Co. Funeral Home at the convenience of the family.  The Rev. Ronald Place, pastor of Groton Community Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Groton Cemetery.

There are no calling hours.
