"A memorial service for Vivian Louise Wardwell will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 25, in Kingdom Hall, 17474 S.E. Rose Street, Milwaukie.
Mrs. Wardwell, a realtor, author, artist and art teacher, died January 18, 1997, at 89. She was born April 24, 1917, in Mason City, Nebraska. Her maiden name was Amsberry. She was a Jehovah's Witness. She married James H. in 1938. He died in 1974. Survivors include her sons, Don of Boring, and Howard of Portland; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the Milwaukie Senior Center. Arrangements are by Peake Memorial Chapel."
