Son of Martin and Catharine Casey. Both parents were born in Ireland. It appears that Catharine died before 1880 and Michael grew-up with his father. Michael remained single until 1925 when he married Henrietta Carmack, who was divorced. They were living on Wayne Street in Cincinnati with 3 of Henrietta's children in the 1930 census. Michael died after being struck by an automobile while crossing the street near his home. He was working as a cook at the time of his death.
