Adam is the son of Mr. Curtis Parker of Cherokee, NC and Teresa Smith of Union Mills, NC. He was the spouse to Mr. Jordan Oocumma of the Wolftown community in Cherokee, NC and had roots in the Baptist faith.
Adam is also survived by brothers, Clinton R. Parker of Rutherfordton, NC, Dakota S. Parker of Marion, NC, John Parker of Polk, Co., NC; sisters, Kim Gibson and Becky Scott both of Rutherford Co., NC; other close relatives indentified as, Eddie Parker of Cherokee, NC, Robert Parker of Gastonia, NC, Jimmy Parker of Rutherfordton, NC, Shelley Brooks and Sharon Parker of Rutherfordton, NC.
Adam was preceded in death by his Pa Pa Ed Parker; grandmother, Earlene Parker; grandmother, Helen Lapage; great-grandfather, John A. Lambert and great-grandmother, Sallie Lambert.
The family of Adam will meet in the chapel of Long House Funeral Home at 12 Noon on Saturday, May 10, 2014 for a short gathering and will leave to the graveside at 1PM for a short graveside committal at the Birdtown Cemetery.
