HENRY – Ellen Frances (Hay), 91, Jennerstown, died May 7, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 21, 1922, in Jenner Township, Somerset County, daughter of C. Lester and Erma K. (Speicher) Hay. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Richard O., in 1952; infant sister, Doris; and brothers, Clarence and Russell. Survived by children, Terry, married to Janice Oaks, Jennerstown; Richard, married to Song Sun Yim, Davidsville; James, married to Helen Lisbon, Jenners; and Sally, married to Pete Mosky Jr., Jenner Township; grandchildren, Doug Henry, and wife, Niccola; Tracy (Henry), and husband, Stuart Little; Jill (Henry), and husband, Todd Surloff; Joe Henry; Ben Henry; Jacob Henry; Jeffrey Henry, and wife, Roann; Danielle (Henry), and husband, Andy Pero; Scott Mosky; and Kristy Mosky; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Shirley Ferrari, Jerome; and Lois Theil, Ligonier. Ellen was a graduate of the former Boswell High School. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, and Knotty Women of the church. Lifetime member and past president of the auxiliary to Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department. She was an active member of the former Jennerstown Fall Festival committee. Longtime former Jennerstown Borough tax collector and borough treasurer. Past employee of the former Hoffman Cut Rate, Jennerstown, and ACME Die & Machine Co., Latrobe. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell. Viewing also will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Laurel Trinity Church, Pastor Traci Bowman, officiating. Interment, United Church of Christ Cemetery, Jennerstown.
