Christ Aebersold, 50, died at his home on Gaston Road, South Amherst, Tuesday (November 5, 1929) following an extended illness. He was born in Bern, Switzerland, but came to South Amherst when eight years of age. Prior to his illness, Mr. Aebersold had been employed by the Cleveland Stone Company.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Eebersold, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Allsop and Mrs. Albert Wragg, of South Amherst, and one son, Edward, at home, an aged father, Christ Aebersold, also of South Amherst, two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. John Slack Willard and Mrs. John Wilhelm, Jacob Aebersold of South Amherst and Fred Aebersold, of Lorain and one grandchild.

Mr. Aebersold was a member of St. John's Evangelical church and fraternally was connected with Foresters of America, Maccabees and North American Union. Funeral rites will be Friday (8 Nov 1929) at 1 p.m. at home, and 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical church, with Rev. C.F. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
