Ethel Blanche Harrell, 84, of RFD 5, Spotsylvania, died Saturday at her home. Mrs. Harrell was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Julian T. Harrell, six daughters, Mrs. Gertrude H. Edwards of Stafford, Mrs. J. Frances Rush of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Mary V. Gardner of Spotsylvania, Mrs. Delia E. Chambers of South Gate, Mich., Mrs. Esther J. Courtney of Florida, and Mrs. Blanche R. Mewshaw of Maryland; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Rockville Cemetery, Md. The Revs. Herbert Hall and Phillip Moran will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Spencer T. Courtney, J. Allen Gardner, Harrell L. Gardner, Sidney Harrell, Charles L. Wandrick and William Watkins.
