Elsa S. Rudy, 74, of 5023 Locust Lane died Wednesday at home.
She was a retired underwriter for Merchants and Businessmen's Mutual Insurance Co.; a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Church Women and Gleaners Class; and Kabob Hiking Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Jacqueline Richards of Fulton, N.Y.; three sons, Jay Chronister of Palmyra, Va., Albert Chronister of Harrisburg, and Glenn Rudy of York Haven; a sister, Helen Rice of Butler; two brothers, Albert Steger of Mount Clemens, Mich., and Elmer Steger of Derry; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in her church with the Revs. George Fitch and Brenda J. Kiser officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Gardens, Lower Allen Twp.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 4200 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg 17109 or Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, Box 266, Enola 17025.
The Stone Funeral Home, New Cumberland, is handling arrangements.
