John L. Miller age 88, of Richland Center died Saturday November 3, 2007 at his residence. John was born on April 5, 1919 to his parents John and Nell (Collard) Miller.
John married Jane Bann in 1941 in Washington D.C. John was a Federal employee all his life starting as an M.P. in the military, the FBI, and the Postal Service. He was a charter member and lead actor in the Richland Center Theater.
John is survived by his wife Jane Bann Miller of Richland Center, his children Mark (Dena) Miller of Madison, Rebecca (Todd McGrain) Miller of Ithaca NY, Daniel Miller of Richland Center, Elizabeth Sikorsky of Tuscan AZ, and Martha (Steven) Tenney of Richland Center, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister Lois (Loyd) Cole of Muscoda.
John was preceded in death by his parents John and Nell Miller, and two sons John and Paul Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday November 7, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Richland Center at 11 a.m. Father Emmanuel Famiyeh officiated. Burial was to be at a later date.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday November 6, 2007 at the Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center from 4 PM until 7 PM and again on Wednesday November 7, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church from 10 AM until time of the mass at 11:00 AM.
The Stafford Funeral Home of Richland Center assisted the family with their arrangements.
