============
Alma Louise Williams Ashcraft, age 91, known by most as Louise, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2012. Born in Williamstown, Kentucky, on October 10, 1920, she lived for a while in Denver, Colorado, before adventuring to California, where she settled in the San Fernando Valley. After surviving a major earthquake in 1971, she relocated in Colorado Springs, Colorad, where she retired from the United States Post Office in 1980 and moved back to Falmouth, Kentucky. While vacationing in Texas to attend her granddaughter’s wedding and prepare for a permanent move there to be near family, she suffered a massive stroke and passed away a few days later.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Delphus Williams and Ruby Lee Swarthwood; brothers, Gaines, Joe, Harold, Neal and Bill; and her husband, Llano Carl Ashcraft. She leaves: two daughters, Patricia Schutz, of Texas, and Virginia Sparkin, of Colorado; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She and her late husband were long-time members of the Southside Church of Christ. As she was a convert to the Catholic Church in 1948, she was also a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, in Falmouth. She was a member of TOPS, in Williamstown. She was an avid reader, loved to crochet and garden and was a fantastic cook. She was well loved and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
