FUNERAL OF MR. FORBES,
Only Old Friends Attend the Services This Afternoon
The funeral of Thomas Forbes was held privately at the home of his wife's mother, Mrs. Skelton, 208 Mason street, at 2:30 this afternoon. The floral tributes from relatives and friends were numerous and beautiful. The pall-bearers where his brothers-in-law, Harry, William and Samuel Skelton, and his son, Robert Forbes. Old friends were invited to the funeral services, but interment was private in the family plot at Forest Home.

DEATH OF THOMAS FORBES
Well Known Railroad Man and a Resident of Milwaukee Since the '50's
Thomas Forbes, the veteran passenger agent, died last night of pneumonia, aged 60 years. He was out on the street Saturday but he was taken ill and suffered a relapse which proved fatal in twenty-four hours.
Mr. Forbes came to Milwaukee early in the 50's and became an agent of the old Milwaukee and La Crosse road. For eleven years he was a local representative of Pittsburgh and Fort Wayne road with an office under the Newhall house. Until recently he was a passenger agent of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul road, and at the time of his death he was a passenger agent of the Goodrich Transportation company.
He was a Knight Templar and prelate of his commandery. He also belonged to the St. Andrews society. He leaves a wife and a son 21 years old, Robert C. Forbes, an employee of Northwestern National Insurance company.
Mr. Forbes was the husband of Mrs. Florence Forbes, a popular soprano. She has sung almost constantly for a number of years in choirs and concerts. She has sung in St. James, Grand Avenue Congregational and the First Baptist churches.
The funeral will be held at the home of Mrs. Forbes' mother, Mrs. C. Skelton of 208 Mason street, tomorrow afternoon at 2:30. The Rev. William Chester will officiate and the internment will be in Forest Home.
