She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hill.
Doris was a member of the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Tennessee Handbags, Inc. Following retirement, she enjoyed 19 years as a volunteer at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was loved dearly by her many friends and family, and will be greatly missed by the residents and staff of the Jefferson County Nursing Home who showed their love as her extended family.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry DeVault and the Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Interment graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
