Sgt. H Gordon Cox, of 2263 Durby was killed Monday in an accident at the United Air Force at Chino, Okinawa, where he had been stationed almost a year.

Sergeant Gordon, whose hobby was photography, was taking pictures of a huge wave on a boat dock when a wave swept him off the dock. He drowned.

Sergeant Cox was president of the Chess Club and the Junior Achievement Co. at Tech HIgh School, where he was graduated in 1965.
