Harold H. Baker, 93, of Auburn died Monday, May 5, 2014, at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett.

Harold was born May 28, 1920, in Auburn to Franklin and Mary (Dilley) Baker.

He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served four years as an engineer during World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific theater area.

He worked for the Dana Corporation in Fort Wayne for over 30 years, retiring in 1984.

Harold was a member of the Auburn Church of Christ and also volunteered at hospitals in Noblesville, and Louisville, Kentucky.

He married Virginia Poper on July 2, 1949, in St. Joe, and she passed away July 26, 1996. He then married Mary Elizabeth Walker on May 24, 1997, in Louisville, Kentucky, and she passed away Feb. 2, 2012.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Marynelle and John McLauchlin of Bloomington, and Brenda Sebert of Butler; five grandchildren, Shae Keller, Staci Galligher, Amy Henninger, Rory Sebert and Randy Sebert; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; a grandson, Brian Keller; four sisters, Helen Warstler, Naomi Draggoo, Lucille Yates, and an infant sister; and two brothers, Edward "Eugene" Baker and Clayton Baker.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Auburn Church of Christ, 208 W. 18th St., Auburn, with Joe Heins officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in St. Joe with military graveside services being conducted by the United States Army and the Butler American Legion Post 202.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday prior the service at the church.
