William remarred to Elmira Unknown in 1898. Then again in 1906 to Rebecca K."Crofford" King. Rebecca is buried at Stephens Cem. No known children by the other 2 wives.
William tried to join the Union in the Civil War, but he was under age, and his mother, Mary Ann "Bozarth" McCrory Thornsberry Martin went to the army camp and took him back home.
