Services for Donald L. Edwards, 84, Indianapolis, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Heather Hills Baptist Church. Calling will be until 9 tonight in Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel and after noon Saturday in the church.

Mr. Edwards died Wednesday. He was a truck driver 27 years for Hostess Bakery, retiring in 1974. Previously, he owned a grocery store. During World War II, he did tool and die setup for Detroit Diesel Allison. Mr. Edwards was an agent for Western-Southern Life Insurance Co. in the 1930s.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

Survivors -- wife Geneva McNeely Edwards; sons James David, Donald L. Jr., Dan L. Edwards; daughter Sheila Bacon; sisters Helen Mutz, Mary Leonard; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
