Sylvia (Maynard) Hinton, 89, Indianapolis, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. Born on Dec. 30, 1919, in Scottsville, Ky., she was the daughter of James Almond and Arnora "Arie" (Sikes) Maynard.Surviving are her eight children; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be private and are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
